VAforBloggers.com
October 27, 2011

This brief letter is both exciting and sad for me. I think some people call this a "bittersweet moment".

As of today, I'm no longer taking on clients or further developing VAforBloggers.com.

This is a long time coming, and in fact most people probably won't be surprised by this. There's no complicated reason. I’m not quitting because the business is failing (it's not, actually - it would continue to grow if I didn't put the kibosh on it now). I've just entered a phase where I no longer want to be a full-time virtual assistant, and I'd rather spend some time exploring other projects, working on hobbies, and living life a bit.

Three years of intensely focusing on everyone else's business needs but my own has proven to be, honestly, exhausting. That's not to say that I didn't enjoy it all along the way - because I so did. That's what made this decision so hard. Knowing when to walk away is a skill I've had to learn, and I'm taking my final exam on it now.

Clients have already been informed about what's going on (and if you're a client and you haven't heard from me yet, you will soon), and I intend to honor all purchased time and finish by the end of the year. Feel free to visit me at my new home - The Home Life [and Me]. If you're a blogger with a handmade business, a lifestyle blogger who has grown too big for your britches, and/or a unique online business owner, you'll be happy to know that I'm still providing some similar services on a very limited basis. If I'm not taking on clients when you click over, make sure to check back often (or sign up for the email list) to see if the queue has opened up.

Lastly, I just want to give a big thank you to every client I've ever had the pleasure of working with. You've each taught me something. You've each played a huge role in my life. You've each helped me live the dream of being self-employed. You'll never know the gifts you've given me. You've changed me.

Wishing you health, wealth, and happiness,

Lisa Morosky
Founder of VAforBloggers.com

P.S. - My email address here, lisa -at- vaforbloggers -dot- com, will remain active and I'll be regularly checking it for at least several more months. So if you’re a past client who needs to get in touch come tax time, or you’re looking for a referral going forward (I have a great one for you), you can still reach me there.
