What happens after I submit payment for a package?

After you submit payment, you will automatically be sent to a page to download a project information form, asking you some questions about your project. Once you fill that out and send it to me, I will get in touch with you within 24 hours (not including weekends or holidays) to go over your project details.

What happens after I submit payment for one of your DIY guides?

After you submit payment, your product download link will be automatically emailed to you. You will also be redirected to a page where you can download it instantly.

Are you a virtual assistant or a consultant?

I get this question a lot because I have specialized knowledge and work only with people in my own industry. The reason I chose the title “virtual assistant” is because I am the implementer of your already created plan. I do not create customized blog and social media strategies. I’m the person you come to when you need help carrying out your strategy. If you need help drafting a blog or social media strategy, you want to hit up a social media and/or blogging consultant.

Why should I use you instead of outsourcing to a foreign VA for $2.00 an hour?

You get what you pay for. Also, I do not compete based on price. I compete based on the quality and sophistication of my services, and the value and convenience I can add to a client’s life.

What are your business terms?

Simple. Payment for packages is due prior to work beginning.

What is your usual turnaround time for projects?

It depends on the project. A complete blog customization is going to take longer than designing a Facebook Fan Page. Generally, I request a 7 business day lead time (7 days before I begin your project). We will work together to determine a delivery date for the final product.

Remember that I can only work as fast as you communicate with me. If I send you an email about something I need your input on, and you don’t respond until 10 days later, that’s 10 more days until your project is completed.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Payment must be made via PayPal. PayPal accepts credit cards and debit cards, and you do not need a PayPal account to pay.

If I purchase a retainer package, will I receive a timesheet?

At the conclusion of your retainer package, you will receive a timesheet that sums up how much time was spent on what.

What if I’m not happy with the work you do?

I’m not happy unless you’re happy. We’ll continue to work together to make sure we work it out to the satisfaction of us both.

What if I need a package that isn’t listed on your “Packages” page?

Consider purchasing a retainer package instead. Retainer packages are simply hours that you can use on whatever you need done (from my available services).

Will you create a WordPress theme from scratch for me?

Nope, sorry, I won’t. I just don’t have the time to devote to anyone’s custom programming but my own.

Are you going to need to know my passwords and stuff?

Yeah, I probably am. Rest assured: all passwords are stored in encrypted files. Only I have access to them. And you can (and should) change the password information when we are done working together.
